What is the Woodland Golf Club Scholarship Foundation?
The Woodland Scholarship Foundation awards financial assistance to be applied toward education and vocational tuition assistance, or post-graduate loan repayments to deserving past and present employees, their children, and members of the Auburndale community. An impartial committee considers need, merit and promise and makes award recommendations to the Scholarship Foundation Board of Directors based on these criteria as well as information provided on the application and learned during an interview process.
Formed in 2017, the Scholarship Foundation has provided 190 grants totaling $345,000, to date. Grant recipients are honored at an awards ceremony at Woodland in August and all donors are invited to this special event.
Checks in support of the Scholarship Foundation, a charitable 501(c) (3) organization, should be made payable to "WGC Scholarship Foundation" and mailed to:
